people die everyday, people are killed unjustly everyday, people die everyday at the hands of corrupt lawless officers of the law, but listen people all over the world die every day for less, children die, old men,women young men and women people die everyday all a crossed the globe for reason outside of the natural order of life and death, i say that to say this you cannot be shocked and appalled by a boy dying in st louis and not be equally as appalled as a baby being killed in gaza or 31 young boys being slaughtered and mutilated in their beds for wanting to be educated, there are countless peoples on the planet who face similar if not worse treatment at the hands of tyrannical systems of law, if you do not weep for them,if you do not riot for them, if you do not speak for them if you do not push legislation to change things then no one will hear your cries when it is you who are affected. Dr King said that an injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere, they kill these babies because they can, they brutalize these peoples because they can, because people only respond when the sickness is apparent but there are symptoms to every ailment and i say that this country is ailing, i say this country is sick and its not the system that is sick it is a country of folk so mystified and pacified by bullshit that they can not see the reality of things that affect their lives directly, that boy is dead and itll be a thousand more after him thatll die because love and hip hop or kim and kanye or the super bowl or the playoff or some other assorted manner of non sensical pacification will draw our ailing minds away from the fact that we are sick and we need to seek treatment. i dont believe the answer to the problem exist in the minds of people as we speak i feel that an entirely new thought process must be devised to deal with this sickness that affects us all white, black and every shade in and between. some may not dig this and that is cool cause nobody like to be told that they are sick, but ignoring the fact that you are does not change your ultimate reality. if you are indifferent to the suffering of others what make you think that anyone should rally to your defense, we i think feel a sense of entitlement that because we are americans that our suffering is more urgent than the suffering of other folk, but a bullet in nigeria kills like a bullet in iraq and the bullet in iraq kills like the bullet in st louis.
