pictured here is my western electric space saver telephone from 1939. I finally did some conversion work on this today in order to be able to wire it to a subset which this telephone need to function because it has no network and ringer. the inside of it needed to be re wired and a new 4 conductor mounting cord was added. the subset that I am using for this is a 685 which was converted from an old 500 set, and you can do this and can from and old 302 as well. if anyone wants to know how just let me know and I can instruct you on it
