The Retail Systems function is responsible for building retail platforms, tools and automation required to manage selection, optimize pricing, forecast demand, buy products and deal with vendors. Pricing Analytics and Operations is an integral part of Retail Systems enabling Amazon’s pricing strategy and operations. The team’s primary role is to provide on-time and accurate inputs to help make great pricing decisions. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and Amazon’s topline & profitability. The job involves auditing the operations teams, suggesting and implementing process improvements, support in system improvements and report on the emerging trends of the process performance. He/she will be the first point of contact for process related queries for associates within the team and will also work on business and stakeholder correspondence. He / She will be responsible to audit, track and maintain the quality metrics and operations. The individual will interact with the automation & technology teams to achieve the operational and business goals assigned. The successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels of detail to accomplish team/organization goals. He or she will identify individual strengths of team members and contribute to talent advancement by mentoring them on specific small scale projects. The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand Amazon’s core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices. Roles and Responsibilities: · Meets and/or exceeds productivity and accuracy targets for assigned audit/quality processes. · Is an SME on specific business quality processes · Training/update/coaching on mapping operations in the capacity of an SME · Ticket management (meeting SLAs and responding/resolving tickets) · Drive process/system improvements basis ongoing trends/gaps identified · Execute on assigned project components of specific audit processes · 24/7/365 availability, including willingness to work on weekends, and outside of the standard work day · Carries out tactical issue based communications with internal · Creates ad-hoc operational reports, status updates on a need basis Basic Qualifications Required Skills, Experience and Preferred qualifications: · Proficient in Internet navigation and keyboard typing skills · Has problem solving skills and attention to details · Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office tools · Has statistical knowledge on averages, trend, outliers, charting, etc. would be an advantage · Any UG Degree preferred / 1-3 years of work experience · Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills · Has the ability to deliver results by influencing team members Preferred Qualifications Business Acumen, Soft Skills & Leadership: · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Analytical and deep dive skills to evaluate accuracy · Ability to work independently and think ‘out of the box’ · Should be able to ‘dive deep’ and identify the root cause of the issues and get them fixed by coordinating with different teams like operations and IT
