poem idea: poem where you compare the night sky at winter to something about how you grew up with privilege but appear to feel guilty about it because thats what you learned you should do, and in appearing guilty, you appeared to want to be a poet, while thinking, poets are populists, right? but then you learned nobody gives two shits about poetry, especially yours, and then you figured out youre the worst because your appearance of humility is more of an endorsement of the incipient elitism you were granted and always tried to submerge in being born a white male in a comfortable home than it is trying to level the playing field, and even in that trying to level the playing field, youre also imagining/creating a dynamic where youre never not thinking of yourself as being over or above the people whose very presence in that dynamic makes you other them in ways you can only really understand as ideas only halfway connected to you, so you end up pretty much the worst, or something like that
