#presence There is a man that lives down the street from the gym who came in early Friday morning while Andrew Mckeen was training a couple of hardworking clients. The man couldnt set his watch properly and was missing appointments because the date was off by a day. He asked for help with it. His digital watch was at least 20 years old and the buttons werent working properly so Andrew couldnt help. The man said it was his 80th birthday and he wasnt feeling well and needed to make his Drs appointments. I came in later to hear about this and got a bit teary eyed. I bought a digital watch this weekend and headed to his house this afternoon. I caught him on his way to this quack appt (aka Dr.)! I asked about his watch and he looked at it and said is it Tuesday? No I said Its Monday. I pulled the new watch out for him and he looked at me astonished. I showed him the date and time. He gave me a huge hug and said you are a sweetie! Ive been on cloud 9 all day:) Connect with your neighbour, be present to what it means to be human, vulnerable and have a wonderful holiday season!
