project manager Palestine Association for Education and Environmental Protection (PAEEP) is an environmental, non-profit, community-based NGO in Gaza strip, Palestine. PAEEP works in the development of Palestinian community by undertaking different projects in environment, infrastructure and human development. PAEEP implements a project in partnership with Civic Participation Program funded by US Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Catholic Relief Service (CRS). “Youth Engagement in Civic Society to Increase the Environmental Awareness (Environment Guardians)”. The project aims to raise community environmental awareness, and enhances youth’s role to reserve environment. The duration of this project is 3 months (August - October, 2013). PAEEP is interested in recruiting a qualified candidate to occupy the “Project Manager” position (part time); thus, we invite qualified candidates to apply for the position. Main Responsibilities and duties: -Manage and ensure the smooth project implementation. -Create project schedule based on Work Breakdown Structure. -Provide supervision, monitoring, and implementation. -Develop Communication and Procurement Plan. -Direct and Execute Approved Plans and Monitor Project Execution. -Conduct Kick-off Meeting and Report on Project Performance. -Control and monitor Project Scope, Time, Cost and Risk. Personal and Professional Competencies: -Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration or any other related fields. -Minimum of three years of experience in project management and working with NGOs. -Excellent command in English, Reading, Writing and Speaking. -Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007, MS Word, MS Excel. -Excellent computer skills, searching, and emails management.
