projects that we are proud of. the camilleriparismode design & projects team work on a diverse range of projects ranging from commercial to residential. every week well be uploading a completed project, that although completed a while ago, we still are very proud of. villa arrigo. the camilleriparismode design & projects team has been entrusted with the refurbishment of villa arrigo, one of maltas most prestigious wedding and events venue. the challenge was to return the villa to its former glory while keeping in mind that it was originally planned and built as a private residence. it was also vital to design according to the villas function today. the new plans included the installation of solid timber low panelling in the front rooms, which was then hand painted to complement the newly painted soft dusty pink walls (bistre by zuber). the zuber hue chosen for the walls were cleverly balanced out by the duck-egg blue and warm grey on the curtains. the pelmets were the villas original ones, restored and hand painted in our workshops, and finally given a distressed look. most of the furniture and all the paintings have been re-positioned and the villa now enjoys a more open and elegant feel. the sitting room on the right includes 2 of our traditionally built sofas, with a coffee table in the middle and the villas original armchairs. most of the vetrinas and landscape paintings have been grouped in the room. in the dining area, a pair of chandeliers have been placed above the table, balancing out the rooms proportions. two beautiful gilted carving tables have also been placed in the room, adorned with white and blue temple jar lamps. throughout the rest of the villas ground floor space a more neutral, albeit deep colour was chosen for the walls. the staircase has also been repainted and the numerous paintings grouped around it have truly set off its majestic air. camilleriparismode/interiordesignmalta/our-projects Villa Arrigo & Osborne Boutique Catering
