psalm is the greatest song that pierce the heart of God, next to psalms are the hymns...... these both songs (psalms & hymns) are well composed to please God and educate man, increase the faith of men and heal broken hearts... it does not require great voices to sing these songs because no matter how the gets to the ears, they find their way to the heart of the listeners (no wonder God called King David a man after his heart). psalms & hymns are not songs that are composed from an individual intrest, but they words of the spirit, they relate with the spirit not the body (worship in truth and in spirit), the composer of psalms and hymns are always motivated by their intimate relationship with God, these songs come from either grievial experience or joyful experience....a composer of these both great songs cannot just decide and compose them songs this days are ultimately for personal reasons (the love of money is the root of all evil), it is solely for monitary reasons......to be a successful composer of songd these days, you have think about how to thrill your audience, you must write according to the demand of the people forget that songs are supposed to be food for the soul, they compose to please the audience (you must not have any other gods beside me). Worship/praise songs are supposed to be songs that will lift up the spirit of men to God but it has being polluted even beyond the so called worldly songs (offer a perfect sacrifice), rather than elevating the spirit of men to commune with God, the make men misbehave even in the presence of God, worship songs these days are so bad that professionals are being payed to deliver it properly therefore making it a jamboree no more something that take men to the presence of God, using employed workers to take the people to the presence of God, other than confidently walking into the presence of the Lord (i will enter his gate with thanksgiving in my heart, i will enter his court with praise)...... t o b e c o n t i n u e d
