rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/8156-wallace-a-cup-doubt LEE Wallace is a doubt for Rangers fourth round Scottish Cup tie with Kilmarnock this Sunday. The defender limped out of training yesterday with an ankle injury and may sit out again today before resting, along with the rest of the squad, tomorrow. Away from Wallace the rest of Ally McCoist’s side are fit to face their Premiership opposition, with only Cammy Bell sill facing a long term spell on the sidelines. Stevie Smith is suspended after his red card against Hearts - he will miss the next two games, in the Scottish Cup and Challenge Cup, after being dismissed for violent conduct. McCoist said: “Lee came off in training yesterday; hopefully it is nothing too serious. “I don’t know if he will be able to train today, I haven’t had a chance to speak to the physio yet. “He has a wee ankle problem, it is nothing major so I am hoping yesterday was precautionary more than anything else. “Everybody else is in good shape and should be fit and raring to go for the weekend. “Stevie Smith will miss Sunday’s game and Wednesday’s at Alloa, which is disappointing for us.” McCoist also has a hard choice to make between two strikers, Jon Daly and Kris Boyd. The Light Blues boss dropped Boyd to the bench at Tynecastle last Saturday, instead giving Jon Daly his first start of the season. He admits to having been impressed by the Irish frontman in the 75 minutes he played against Hearts. “I though Jon did very well on Saturday, his performance gives me a difficult decision to make for the weekend. “But it is still early in the week to be deciding my starting 11 and it is a decision I haven’t made yet.”///Chris72
