reading comments on Japan-based news stories re the whale ruling: Congratulations Australia! Thousands of Australian jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars have been protected from Japanese self-sufficiency. Now the Japanese have to buy more Aussie beef. That’s what this has been about all along. Every ton of whale meat the Japanese harvest is a ton of Aussie/US beef they won’t be buying. WHAT.
