recently...in the news, many citizens have been brutally beaten, for no apparent reason, by members of our police force. Whereas we all gasp at this display of unmerited brutality, it makes me wonder what kind of stress our police officers are under on a daily basis. First of all...most of them are married with families. They leave everyday wondering if they will ever return home. Not to mention all the procedures concerning everyday arrests. They deal with drug addicts, murderers, rapist, child molesters,thieves,missing persons, to name a few. I cannot imagine dealing with all this on a daily basis. I ask that you join me in lifting up all the police officers in every city of this country. Father, i pray for your mercies on these dedicated men and women in the police force. You alone know the effects this type of stress has on their minds and hearts, as well as their physical condition. We pray for your peace to surround them. We pray for a clear mind and sound judgement in dealing with the citizens of this country. And, we pray for protection for them, as they go about their daily routine. In Jesus name, we thank you, Amen. May His love surround you like a warm blanket
