remember when I posted here that I was giving up on NFL games because I felt their reaction to domestic violence was absurdly offensive? Well, commissioner Goodell has changed the NFL policy to a 6-game suspension for a 1st offense and a full year ban for the 2nd.. although I would hope that the year ban would be in addition to a prison sentence. While there should be no such offenses anywhere at any time for any reason, it is good to know that the NFL has heard the voices condemning its previous policies as insensitive. I applaud the change and end my walk out. I am reasonably certain that I had absolutely nothing to do with the decision but I will pretend that I did because that would be so cool - forcing the NFL to change their ways (even though I cant name more than 4 active players) And now, I can watch the Bears and feel good about it - well, as good as one can feel watching the Bears!
