reposted from one who was there : I have a favor to ask. A number of animals at our county fair were harmed or killed. The rabbit barn lost 13 animals this week alone. Chickens, goats, pigs, and horses were also put in danger. Tonight the rabbit barn was evacuated due to the danger. I just found out that people who took home animals other than rabbits tonight will be sanctioned and not allowed to show next year. Rightfully, people are scared and feel a responsibility to protect their animals. If you agree that those people should not be punished under these circumstances, please drop a note or call our fair board to offer your support.
