rosstuttle@yahoo Dear Tensas River NWR Lottery Deer Hunter: Starting July 8, 2013 you will be able to apply online for this year’s lottery deer hunts. Lottery Modern Firearm deer hunts will be held November 29-30 and December 14-15, 2013. Applying online will be the quickest and easiest way to apply and will provide you with a confirmation number as soon as your application is submitted. If you are drawn for the hunt, total permit cost is $20.00 ($12.50 permit fee for Tensas River NWR and $7.50 handling fee for Kinsail Corporation). This is payable online via secure website with all major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic bank drafts. You may only apply for one hunt. Up to five people may apply together as a party; however, anyone found to have their name submitted more than one time will be disqualified. Each year, there are several hunters whose names are submitted more than once by friends or family members. Even if the mistake is genuine, you will still be disqualified. Please be sure to communicate well with hunting companions to ensure that you have a chance to be drawn without disqualification. Applications must be submitted online or by mail no later than Friday, September 6, 2013 to be eligible for the drawing. Please note that Tensas River NWR is no longer accepting applications at the Refuge by mail or in person. If you choose to apply by mail, you may download an application from our website (fws.gov/tensasriver/) or request one by calling the phone number listed below. When complete, simply mail your completed application to: Tensas River NWR c/o Kinsail Corporation 6841 Elm Street #1092 McLean, VA 22101 We hope that the online application process goes smoothly for everyone.
