sadly, creepy jerks exist and harassment happens. I found reading this really helpful in preparing myself for how to react if I ever am a victim of any inappropriate behaviour, as there were things listed in this article I would not have thought of. Conventions are supposed to be safe and everyone has a right to feel safe while they attend, but knowing how to respond is important if we want to change the culture of harassment that seems to still insist. This wasnt an easy read so please be careful, but no explicit descriptions of harassment are expressed.
