#sf Budget Cmtee Hearing on Childrens Amendment/Fund: Bravo to the Childrens Fund Community Coalition & the service providers, grassroots groups, youth, parents, girls advocates, TAY supporters & community members that spoke out for a NOV 2014 BALLOT MEASURE IN SF that would create a new oversight commission, increase the Childrens fund to 5%, expand the age group served to children/youth aged 18-24, end the sunset dates, and end the trigger for the PEEF that has allowed our schools to be short-changed for many years. Thank you to Chelsea Boilard, Lily Wong, Maria Luz L. Torre & Coleman Advocates leaders for building a broad community coalition like Margaret Brodkin & other grassroots leaders and groups did from 1990-91 to fight for adequate services for our children and families today!
