#sharegoodness One year ago today, I sat alone in a Starbucks, waiting for Jordan Jones (who knows why). I was at one of my all-time lows. I popped in my headphones and listened to Beethovens Hallelujah Chorus from Christ on the Mount of Olives on repeat, and every time I passed the lyrics Man, proclaim His grace and glory! I felt an overwhelming feeling of peace. I had up to that day gone to so many different sources to try to get myself out of the pit, but that night I decided to take a new course of action. I decided to take my problems up to God. I decided it was time to make Him a priority in my life, and I somehow just knew it was going to get better. 18 days later, I met the LDS missionaries (Elmer A. Reyna and Matthew McKay) at my first time at Institute with Darrin Simpson, and from that night there has been such an immense change in my life. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given me so much. I have so much joy in knowing my purpose on Earth, knowing where I came from and where I am going. Learning the ins and outs of Christs Atonement and what it can do and has done for me saved my life. I remember feeling like I was on the edge of a cliff leaning over, and God yanked me back by my shirttail to show me the way--His way. I am so grateful for His grace, for the guidance and comfort of the Holy Ghost, and for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. And to all the people who have been with me or come into my life as a result of being a member of this church, I love you all and I am so thankful to have you in my life!
