sharing this thought: a country is made up of many people. one segment may be our maids in other countries. but because they are actually educated and speak in English, their masters turn them to be also tutors of their children. so Filipino maids turn to be nurturers of the mind and character of children around the globe. our beauty queens show that amid our challenges as a nation, we, as a people in general, are charming, brilliant, polished, eloquent and friendly. the Philippines is not just a beauty powerhouse. Filipinos are actually keeping the world together. you see us in all nations, in all kinds of professions, in all kinds of situations--both good and bad. we are truly citizens of the world! :)
