short message: coulter is so weird, shes entertaining…. long rant: She says that anyone whose grandfather was born in the US is not watching or likes soccer….hmmm? My grandfather was born in the US, fought in WWII, landed on Normandy on June 6, 1944, worked in the US and earned a pension. He always told his grandkids that they could do as they wished because he had fought for their right to do so. We have become honest working folks: parents, state trooper, paramedic, health care specialists, teachers, artists, moms, dads…all trying to raise our kids accordingly. however, many of us watch soccer - cause we can. Personally, I love (american) football and am a true and loyal Bear fan. But, variety is the spice of life - which is why Jefferson wanted a society of educated people, our forefathers/mothers wanted education accessible so that we can be an informed society, an educated populace that can engage in a hearty debate and, win or lose, walk away feeling informed. But, the said population also knows when to challenge and refute garbage like that which coulter spews. (now stand, and listen for the national anthem and watch the fly-over of the Blue Angels…;)
