since I cant get the Hammond Times or Post Tribune to return my calls or emails Im going to post my dads obituary here: Edward Thomas Zylo, age 72 of Griffith, Indiana lost his battle with cancer at the George Ade Nursing Home in Brook, Indiana. Ed is survived by his daughter Anna Zylo-Jones (Brian) of Brook, Indiana and son Ernie Zylo (Gina) of Morocco, Indiana also surviving are his grandchildren Joshua, Kyra, Kaylee, Patience and Serenity, his brothers Donald, Bill, Raymond, Leonard and John, his sisters Mary and Nora, first wife Shirley E Walters-Graham and his faithful dog of 17 years Bubba. Proceeded in death by his parents John and Mae Zylo, brothers, sisters, second wife Nancy and greatgrandson Landon Swafford Ed was a Vietnam Veteran who sold at many flea Markets in the area and Chicago, and he also enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching game shows and his true joy spending time spoiling his children and grandchildren. In Eds own words when he found out he had cancer All good things must come to an end Per Eds wishes he will be cremated.
