so heres my story for the day: I was walking out of burger king earlier and there was a very old man sitting alone in a booth by the door. As I walked by him, he asked me to come over in a voice that sounded startlingly like al pacino. I said hello, and he asked me to sit down. I had a minute and was intrigued, so I sat. He asked me my name in his slight new york drawl. He said it was nice to meet me. He then asked, do you know who I am? I said no, but it was nice to meet him. For some reason I just left it at that. He sighed and said, Samantha, take care of yourself.... and his voice trailed off. He sighed again, raised his eyebrows, put his hands up in conversational surrender and said, Thats all I had to say. I told him to take care of himself too, and he laughed, Im trying. Then I got up and left, told him to have a nice day. I think I needed that.
