so i decided to start writing songs as well as poems. heres my first one. Hells Gate - by Nick Dysart Tick, Tick, Tick, go the hands of the clock. Like time, My pain flows and its never gonna stop. So drip, drip, drip, goes my blood as it drops. Im hoping now the pain will finally stop. I start to feel dizzy, everything fades to black. But the pain just increases, i wish it werent to late to take it back. I cry out, I made a terrible mistake. But no one hears me, as i fall to hells gate. Im at hells gate And theres no one there to save me Im at hells gate And theres no way to break free Im at hells gate I should have listened to what i was told But instead of holding on, I gave the devil my soul As im ingulfed in flames, my flesh is burned from my bones. Is this bloody nightmare going to be my new home. My body melts away and then it reapears. The process just repeats for what seems like years. When the beast is satisfied, that my soul has broken down. He releases me to the pits, left to wander around. Im at hells gate And theres no one there to save me Im at hells gate And theres no way to break free Im at hells gate I should have listened to what i was told But instead of holding on, I gave the devil my soul As i wander around, i feel something start to lift me. Now im drifting up, i fear a demon has gripped me. Then i feel my heart beat, feel it echo in my chest. My lungs expand as i take a cold breath. The darkness disapears and theres nothing but white. Is this just a trick or is it heavens light. Then i hear a voice, off in the distance. I try to speak out but im met with resistance. there are tubes down my throught, im in a hospital bed. I wasnt lifted to heaven, i was brought back from the dead. I was at hells gate But somebody saved me I was at hells gate But i managed to break free I was at hells gate Now ill heed what ive been told Never again will i give up and let the devil take my soul.
