so i have been to alot of Dr. appts the past two months and every one required me to sign some sor of form that says if i am a no show or if i am more than 10 minutes late i will be charged $25. Yet EVERY time i have been the doc i wait at least 20-30 minutes past my appt. time. So, i am creating my own contract, which states if i am sitting waiting for my "scheduled" appt. for more than 15 minutes, they must pay me the value of my hourly time...which i estimate as somewhere around $70 bucks an hour. if i pro-rate that for a wasted 15 minutes i think $17 for my time is worth it. i wonder if they will be surprised when i give it to the receptionist?
