so i learned today, that if you run a red light and get tagged by the camera, you dont actually have to pay that ticket. its not actually a crime, and thus far (in Texas) the most they are allowed to do is report you to the dmv and not much really comes out of that either. just know that you have a choice, you cant be arrested, they cant impound your car or damage your credit score or anything. keep in mind this is for Texas, i cant speak for how the law works in other states
