so..... i still cant get a horrific incident that happened this morning on my way to work.... i was driving on vandiver.... behind a blue car... both back windows were down... a golden lab was hanging out the window enjoying the air....and i said out loud... "that dog is going to fall out" and sure enough it did.... it hit so hard & so fast.. it was spinning on the pavement.... yelping.. .luckily i was far enough back i didnt hit it.. . & instead of the owner stopping...& making sure the dog was ok.... the owner was more worried about his car in the road so he grabbed the dog by the collar & shoved him in the back seat. i was completely sickened by this!!!!!! all day it has been on my mind. i wish i would have gotten the license plate... or followed him... or stopped to stop him from just shoving the dog back in the car. heaviness on my heart.. i hope & pray that dog is ok. :(
