... so in the post this morning was a letter from the Belastingdienst (Dutch Tax Office) informing me that as Chardonnay (the Freelander) was now located in the UK my road tax (for Dutch roads) would be INCREASED by €11.00 per month. Now I am more than happy to pay for my Road Tax, Insurance and have a valid MOT while I wait for the DVLA here in the UK to sort themselves out but Im a little confused as to why I now have to pay €1,680.00 per year to NOT drive on Dutch roads :(
