so.. . lots of transitions at our house with not-so-fun details. taking some deep breaths, putting on my running shoes & could use some prayers. mags is back at school, evan starts a week from today, anna came back from Zambia to some apartment building issues that caused some unexpected roommate changes (which will likely mean 1 or 2 or 3 trips to dallas for me to get her resettled elsewhere). john has made 3 trips to Southaven Mississippi in the last 2 1/2 weeks (with another one coming up) trying to make some long term care arrangements for his dad who VERY suddenly is completely unable to live alone and is currently in the hospital. throw in a boatload of other minor and not-so-minor bumps in the road and you have our un-picture-perfect life. BUT its not the end of the world and as I think of what my kids in Zambia face EVERY day and the other horrific tragedies occurring all over the world, I am reminded that I could be facing many worse things! BUT. . .if one of our faces pops into your mind today, we would welcome your prayers!
