so much truth. this world is so materialistic, so focused on what you have, what your are, versus who you are and what you give to society and yoursef. material things are nice, but unless you have to show for them, not by a closet full of name brand or a home full of luxury, a car note that costs the amount of what would be considered low rent, but through intelligence, through harmony, selflessness, and giving more so than buying and flashing, there is no reason to show. when you sit back and look at the downfalls of society, the negativity in our society, the mistakes, and the broken pieces- it all starts with the action and/or choice of a human. do one thing, take a look at the line of people that are awaiting the purchase of the new jordans, compare it to the line at welfare, the food bank, the shelter, the waiting list to enlist for war, the waiting list for a transplant, the random pull for students to be able to go to a better school- there are people fighting, scrambling, hounding their account to see when their money gets in or simply dropping a couple cause they got it that good, but what good is a pair of js aside from something to say you have? what worth do you have to show for yourself, for society, for humanity other than material things? thats what you have to evaluate when waiting in that line.
