so people just to let you know i committed a crime this morning .... went grocery shopping at walmart in somersworth , got there at 7:10 am. it was 74 degrees and very humid ,when i got out of my truck i could hear a dog barking non stop so i went over to the van it was in and looked inside to see two dogs one big furry one and a small one stressing out , the windows were cracked a little and it was parked in the shade sort of so against my better judgement i went inside to shop . came back out 20 mins later and the van was still there and the dog was still barking , the bigger dog had its nose out the cracked window to get air so i called 911 big mistake !!!! they transfered me to somersworth police dispatcher who said she would send an officer so i waited . 5 mins. later he calls my cell phone and asked if i called 911 for the dogs and i said yes , he then told me that doing that is a crime and he would be there and for me to wait ! he arrived 10 mins later and was angry at me walked over to the van and said its in the shade and the windows are cracked and its 74 degrees outside and they get these calls all the time and wasnt happy about it and that calling 911 for such a thing is a crime and i could go to jail ! i told him the dogs were stressing and they had been in the vehicle for an hour now ,. he said ohh so youve sitting here an hour ? i said no i got here @ 7:10 and the vehicle was here when i arrived , he took my name and address and said he would come back in a while and check the animals !!!!! he also told me someone could have died of a heart attack while i was wasting the 911 operators time ! so i left not happy but i left ! so whats your opinion ?
