so there i was…wandering my native self thru copenhagen…enjoying the day …fighting my fight against the forces of health and aging…but generally in a good mood….when outside a train station i spotted some political activistists…cool….i walked over to check out some of their signs….a nice danish lady seized upon my innocent interest…started talking rapid fire rhetoric….after hearing 90 seconds of the semi conservative mix of we can fix everything by a return to good old fashioned values….i looked over her shoulder to a sign that saidimpeach Obama….i asked her….now what would make you want to have a american president impeached?….she took a deep breath….(i immediately regretted asking)….she started off with…Obamacare….its more like the british system other than the canadian system or danish system…too many problems with starting it!!! i said national health care is a good idea…making it work is another thing….but not an impeachable offense…what else you got?….she says wall street is still a huge liability full of money speculators with no regulations….no change after the big crash!…i replied…thats more a function of political influence making politicians do less than they could….but the reality is correct…. still not impeachable so far…what else? She said Obama has used military forces without congressional approval! hmmm now shes in the right ballpark…. however….i replied but thats been true of every american president since lyndon johnson and the kennedy days….she seemed surprised i knew a little about my country of origin… so far you got nothing more than a general complaint about the american executive branch and governance in general…ergo…..american public opinion and voters…is that all ? i asked…she said no!….then she hit me with the BIG one…..this time i was surprised… she says Obama doesnt like the brazil, russian, china and india cooperations thats starting….so he is provoking russia to attack ukraine!!!…..( i was thinking this was a little far fetched….even for a political street corner activist)….so i did my best and asked for something to read on the subject….i suppose a nobel peace prize winner that actively provokes a 3rd world war would qualify as an impeachable offense…..but then Im not a lawyer being besieged by lobbyists either...…..finally i asked what would you have Obama and americans do?….she responded very quickly…she knew her material…she stated he should return america to its original form!!…despite my amazement….i told her lady, you are talking to an Indian….you cant make that idea sound good no matter how hard you try…and it was time for me to leave….but like all good propaganda and outright lies…there is some truth to the outrageous…the complexities are huge….but principles can be reimplemented or resurrected…Im sure when americans remember or learn that the republic for which it stands can improve when all its citizens have a responsibility to each other and the republic…it can be more than the original founders dreamed…i hope so…especially since the anishinabe 7 fires prophecies said it could happen
