...so, unrelated to almost anything else going on, Ive been looking over the information for the new Smash Brothers game, and I can only conclude that if the ONLY way to win glory is to play the game on a flat plane with no items, theres clearly no point to it. ...then again, this is a common thing with games in general these days, particularly with the allegedly competitive gaming crowd- everything needs to be flat. Completely balanced. Everything equal. Everything is purely decided on skill. ...which leads me to conclude that competitive gaming is something akin to NASCAR, AKA stock cars constantly travelling around a big donut. And boring as all hell, something I never thought Id say about gaming.
