so we were sitting around the New Traditions office last night thinking about all that has gone on in our store here in Yreka on Miner Street. New Traditions Dulcimers has always been an extension of our ministry here in Siskiyou County so a lot has happened over the years weve been on Miner St. The high schoolers that used to come into the shop, sit on the floor and play music while talking mathematics, the young girls with cutting problems, the young LOVE LORN guys. The instruments we have given away ... OHMYGOSH. I remember one homeless guy that had his guitar stolen down at Yreka Creek. Seemed only right that I give him one of our Johnson Guitars. The baby boomers who are seeing their parents pass away, those conversations have been hard but productive. The list could fill all of Face Book if i were to continue. Its been quite a journey and quite a ride. We were blessed when we chose to open up on Miner St. We hope Miner St and Yreka have been blessed by New Traditions being here. I guess the rain makes me melancholy. But it has been a blessing to us indeed. Thanks to all who have gone out of their way to support us.
