something i wrote.... No Pyramid, No race. There is a way that can seem right to everybody else. A way that the order of things seems to have traced out for us. A way that requires no thought, no creativity, but one who follows diligently and with obedience. Some call it fate. Some tell you it’s what you were born to do but only your heart desires something else. It desires other ways. It desire what is not known but that which makes it feel like at home. You can try to explain it, try to live it out. Many will call you a rebel, a lost cause, someone who is disconnected from their beliefs, a soul that is without guide but only you know there is a Guide in this road that you pave. Some will understand, but will not entirely understand. Some will tell you of the hazards. Some will try to pull you away with their own needs, try to guilt you for not walking in their direction and remind you of the times they were there(true or not), they will appeal to you with their needs, appeal to you with guilt and a back-up crew that’s now turned against you. Some will dis-own you, guilt you into their way, into doing that which they think is without harm. That which seems guaranteed, the path which most common men have walked, succeeded and were applauded for. They will speak of the regrets of their youth, as if they were victory, they will try to reduce you to nothing with their word of “encouragement”, they will stretch their hand to offer help, but only help in what they want you to go. And when you refuse, they will make sure everyone knows what an ungrateful and disobedient person you are. Your heart wants what it wants, feels the pain of what it wants, feels the loneliness and embraces the solitude, the hurt. But every day it rejoices in the life it lives, the path that it desires and chooses. Little by little it rejoices, it learns, it strives, it hurts, it loves, it forgives, it opens to love, it shows kindness. You realize you are not at the top of the pyramid, nor are you at the bottom trying to climb up. Instead you are some were else in your own path. No Pyramid, No race. by Pfariso
