* spoilers * need advice. So after hearing many good things about the television show Dexter, I decided to give it a chance. I got past season one and the utterly predictable twist of the ice truck killer being both Debs lover and Dexters estranged brother. I let it go, writing it off as an attempt to grab early viewers with a plot that is comfortable and popular with the general public and expected some neat changes with season two... However I was seriously disappointed, it slowed to a near stop and began acting in a way which I felt was even more predictable, boring and just plain dull. Should I continue the show? I love serial killers, psychology, criminology, dark plots etc. Does it begin to deliver in these fields later on or should I just re-watch breaking bad? Feel free to call me a dick for disliking this highly praised show, but honestly, I was not impressed.
