strikes me that there are a lot of people and social forces and institutions that would like the world and its population to be secular,agnostic,atheist and yet the impulse of spirituality is resurgent one way or another not just from the god squad,the usual suspects,predictable quarters nor even the militant,fundamentalist and often damaging and damaged quarters but from some fairly unpredictable places like in the titles of music and indeed in the content of that music. it is of course possible that it is an opium,or better description in my view,the heart of a heartless world-but if it is,it reflects for me the depth of alienation and how far we must travel before we find that heart to be empty.i surmise that it is more like the tin man in the Wizard of Oz,but then that is firmly a gnostic tale anyway.that is the mystery.both the heart and the mystery are part of the gnosis for me.and perhaps,science or no science,human meaning in a constant act of co-creation is the key. after all we need to tell our stories and we need to tell each other stories.these are not lies,and can never be so..... youtube/watch?v=dmH9t3Cs1EY
