stunned a large group of 4-7 year olds yesterday by admitting (while ON an escalator) that I dont have a favourite escalator......most of them could name their top three. Then I recanted and told them I did love the escalator up to Park Guell in Spain and I was told, in no uncertain terms, that good escalators were in MALLS or MUSEUMS, but not in COUNTRIES. Wow. Note to self: work on escalator list.
