sunnewsonline/new/?p=73414 Special Assistant (Media) to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, Mr. Stan Okeke, has cautioned Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, to choose his words carefully when addressing his superiors, particularly Chief Umeh. Mr. Okeke, in his reaction to the “unnecessary and unwarranted” attack on the APGA national chairman, over his recent comments on the political situation in Imo State, advised Onwuemeodo to face facts and come to terms with the claim that Governor Okorocha, based on the political situation in Imo State, had lost grip of the state and was no longer politically relevant. He said: “Nothing can be further from the truth in his claims that the political fortunes of APGA had depleted since the exit of Okorocha from the party. “Any decent mind will see through this obvious lie. Rather, the truth is that since the exit of Okorocha from APGA, the party has known and seen peace, growing from strength to strength. “Okorocha’s grouse and that of his aide is that the APGA National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh, stoutly resisted Okorocha’s attempts to force himself back to the party and this is well known to all around the governor, except, of course, Onwuemeodo, who has refused to see reason and come to terms with reality.” He pointed out that the era of propaganda in politics was over that from what had been happening in the state, the people could not wait for the 2015 governorship election to witness their desired change. He said APGA “is certainly the party to beat” in the state. “ Time will soon tell what the political realities in Imo State is. No amount of propaganda or falsehood will save the situation for his principal. Moreover, it is pertinent to point out that Onwuemeodo is in no position to bandy words with Chief Umeh; not even his principal. The earlier he comes to terms with reality, the better for him,” Okeke said.
