swimming n the ocean is just plain hard its so easy to tread water out here and float front or back. :) and so cool to swim underneath such beautiful clear water but i get like 4 strokes in and then the tide starts to puull me out. urghhhhh its hard to swim against the current and the swim stroke i mastered 100 % back in iowa was breast stroke which is not strong enuf to pull me thru the water. ifyou swim towards shore super easy as in instead of paralel to it. prob is once its nearing 9 or ten am these waves break here real hard onto shore. south kihei beaches are bee u tiful but if i wanna sswim here am gonna have to start comin out at 6 am not 8 :) i should have mastered freestyle before coming out here thats how everybody swims out here. at least thebreast stroke would be perfect for snorkeling :)
