that may be the case but I know first hand its not always the case. My children were (and are) disciplined. However, we experienced this type of behavior with our oldest. Now matter what I did, he would beat on me and be a hurricane wrapped in a tornado in public. Everyone stared and commented about my lack of control over my own young son. For years I cried and tried to figure things out to finally learn it wasnt me or dad or environment. It was mental illness. He still suffers and can not live at home. Hes now 14. Not all kids act out due to lack of discipline and the parents of these mentally ill children suffer in silence.
