...that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. - 1 Thessalonians 4:12 The Lord adds, that you may lack nothing. When we live godly lifestyles, even people on the outside - unbelievers - will come to our assistance because they respect us. Unbelievers do not have to like us but it is most important that they respect us, otherwise we will never be able to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to them. That is what Paul is saying here.
