Monsanto, the GMO giant, spent $5,970,000 lobbying Congress in 2012 alone. I’m no scientist, but I wouldn’t mind doing an experiment or two to find out how heavily that money weighed on our Senators’ minds last week. Congress says we can’t label what’s in our food, I wonder how they would feel about labeling who’s padding their pockets?"
