Whites fundamentals to the bigger issues of voice, POV, best book ever written on the subject is Jerome Sterns MAKING SHAPELY FICTION - use in my creative writing classes. Other than that, I can recommend my own 2.99 ebook on the subject Dead On Writing. That is for those who one day wish to write publishable, commercial, popular works of fiction.
