the bus journey passing Calabarzon - a week after Glendas wrath - was a heartbreaking one. Century old trees were not spared and shattered roofs and scattered debris were all over the place. God..what awaits me...I muttered. A few hours later, my house came into view...and it had 0 damage. My precious trees were partially destroyed but standing and pruned by Lourdes husband. In thanksgving, I sketched an orchid and my wood (rose) nymph which I named GLENDA.
