the first song composed by bhakta gnananada tirtha was kavave kamalakshi in the raga jaganmohini in 1930s. the last song composed by him was paratpari in the new raga sri natha namda ramjani in the year1985. he has composed some songs in his childhood also when he was aboy of 7, 8 years old. one song was ve vega rava deva venu gopa bala in the rag kapi in praise of sri venugopala swami the presiding deity of the temple constructed by his fore fathers . he has invented new new ragas pranavapriya the song padara vimdamule in 1950s and sri nathanamda ramjani in the year 1985 the song paratpari siva kameswari. his mudras : 1. raghava till the year 1981 2. gnanananda tirtha after the year 1982 3. the name of his book deviganasudha he has copmposed 1 tana varnam, 85 songs in praise of divine mother gayatry. he was gayatry upsaka. he has published his songs in telugu and tamil. he has composed the songs in telugu and sanskrit. his songs are of 3 types.1.bhakti.2. gnana 3. vairagya. before composing a song one incident will occur in his life. due to that he may be happy , sorrow, surprise, anger. due to the effect of that feeling the song will come down from the depths of his heart like the holy river godavari. he never composed a song for money, fame, publicity , in praise of a human being. on the advice of his spiritual guru sri sri nathanamda tirtha he lived at kovvur, west godavari district, ap in seclusion away from all types publicity worshipping gayatry ,composing the songs and teaching music. he worsipped gayatry as a nishkama bhakta for the prosperity , happiness of mankind. in all the songs he has always the god to liberate him from the cycle of birth and death. he has chosen music as the easiest way to reach god ie pranava nadopasana. he was born on 23-3-1908, phauguna bahula panchami. he has attained maha samadhi on 4-1-1989, margasira bahula dwadasi. he was the first saint composer to compose and propagate the philosophy of gayatry during his life time. he was the first saint composer to compose a song on vijayawada kanaka durga. he has composed some songs on the science of carnatac music.
