... the gifts and calling of God are without repentance (Romans 11:29). In the New Century Version it says, God never changes His mind about the people He calls and the things He gives them. In the Greek, repentance is metanoia. It means a change of mind; change in the inner man. Once God calls someone and once He gives him/her something, God does not take it back. His mind is made up. In fact, His mind was made up about His exact plans for every thing and every person from before the foundation of the world. Gods plans are flawless. They are perfect. We might not understand everything that God wants to do, but we need to trust Him. When has God ever failed us? Never. Man can fail, and man has many times. But God never fails. God has done what He has done, and He does what He does, and He will do what He will do in order to draw mankind to Himself for the sake of having a relationship with us. Despite whatever you have been through or have witnessed someone else go through and you ask, Why me? or Why them? just know that God has a plan. When its all said and done, everything will have worked out just as it should. Every gift God has given you is for a special reason. Gods called you to be what and who you are for a reason. Seek Him to understand why. Be encouraged!
