there is SOOOOOO much added sugar to the dried fruit you buy in stores!! You think your doing your body good, BUT you may as well just eat the candy! Seriously!! Especially cranberries!!! Also, the chemicals that are added to help certain fruits (apricots) keep from going brown and keeping there orange vibrancy is gross. You probably never gave it much thought did you? Beware of your healthy trail mixes! Make your own! Dry your own fruit! Its SO easy! and dehydrators are super inexpensive! They really range in price, and start really quite low! You can dry your own fruits.. make fruit roll ups.. kale chips.. potato chips.. dry fresh herbs.. fresh mint for tea! They are so fun!! You can find them at any houseware store!
