they may as well just come out and say it: DONT FEED THE ANIMALS. a ban on charity and empathy? I believe a hefty rant is in order. for a nation which derives its pride and ethos from democratic ideals, this is nothing short of embarrassing. If you thought divisions of social class were a thing of developing nations, think again: this time its being made law right here in the USA. it seems that peoples need for an ever more sterile and sanitized existence has pulled rank on our feelings of solidarity with our fellow human beings. its is a sad moment. I say feed the homeless, and dont vote for heartless legislation. what is this? suddenly people with houses think theyre somehow better than people who dont have them? and if youre sitting on a park bench sharing a sandwich with a friend, are the cops going to come up and ask you to show last months utility bill? how can this even be enforced without blatant profiling? I say we all go out and eat on the street dressed in our Sundays worst and let these idiots figure out who is who. please comment and share to help stop this madness.
