thinking I was going to die after seeing the look on my Mothers face as I came to after my sezuize in which I broke my back. As the nurses wheeled me down to take catscans of my brain suddenly eveything in life was very clear. It didnt matter if alabama or auburns football team won the iron bowl. It didnt matter what grade I had gotten in my Stats two class that semester. It didnt matter that I had been in the hospital for 5 days when this happened. In that moment I thought I was going to see my King. Do you know what mattered to me right then? My family did. How I treated them, how we loved each other, how we made each other more important than work and busy schedules. My life counting for something mattered in that moment. I thought of specifically two things #1. I am right with God because of Christ. And #2. I have told people the truth of the Gospel. Then I got excited at the thought of seeing the invisible God. As you all know I lived past that night. But I am grateful for it nevertheless. Because I have an ever greater resolve to know God more deeply and share Christ more urgently. So I leave you with two questions. Are you right with God? Do you boldy share the Gospel with the people you know and the peopple you meet? That is what matters. May my life be a Soli Deo Gloria type life.
