this is Native American Heritage month. Did you all know? I recently heard this. I say, Its about time. Because of this and because of thanksgiving, I will post the following: Osiyo, Gaia- our mother earth, is a living thing. She is the center of our life circle. She has the blood of the rivers & streams carrying life and life energy though out her veins. Her heart is delicate & sensitive to the treatment & mistreatment of all living things, especially humans & by humans. She has a fire inside of her stronger than any woman of today. When she hurts inside, she opens herself with such power & anger that her body shakes. Its not wise to upset her. We should instead dance for her & sing to her songs that will bring her calmness & Love. After all she is our mother. She is the mother of all life. --Cherokee Elder. Wado
