this is the first little family we are saving from the Logan, WV pound we have been sharing today. they are luckier than most in that they are in a foster home there & out of the shelter. they are very unlucky in that this sweet mama was dumped in a holler (deserted, remote area) and left for dead w her young pups. of her 5 babies, only 2 remain alive. so mama plus 2 are heading up north asap! mama is a mix and about 30lbs. she is sweet and shy. foster has older kids and shes fine w them. puppies are 2 months old, 1 male, 1 female. if youd like to help us get this family home, please fill out a foster app at nycsecondchancerescue.org!
